AM Attends Chepstow Mencap Fundraiser

Assembly Member for Monmouth, Nick Ramsay was delighted to attend Chepstow Mencap’s afternoon fundraiser on Sunday 8th September at the Three Tons.

The fundraiser, which included performances by various musicians, raised over £1700, which will assist the charity with its ongoing work of refurbishing the Old Board School in Bridge Street as a community hub.

Speaking after the event Mr Ramsay said:

“It was a real pleasure catching up with everyone at Chepstow Mencap and supporting what is a very good cause.

“The Old Board School building which the charity has acquired will make a fitting new home for the charity and also provide a fantastic community hub for the town.

“Well done to all the staff and attendees who made Sunday’s event such a success, raising a staggering £1700. I’m sure the charity will go from strength to strength in your new home.”
