Local Assembly Member for Monmouth, Nick Ramsay, was delighted to receive news of Monmouthshire winners of Wales Care Awards for 2019
The three Monmouthshire winners are:
Hannah Carpanini won the Exceptional Newcomer Award (Gold) – Monmouthshire County Council Adult Disability Service. Hannah also won a Gold for the ‘Dignity in Care’ Category
Claire Aston won the Commitment to Training & Workforce Development Award (Gold) - Aneurin Bevan UHB Claire is also the Divisional Nurse & Head of Long Term Complex Care and also won a Gold for the ‘Spirit of Care’ Category.
Rita Martin won the Supported Living or Small Group Community Living Care Practitioner Award (Gold) – Q-Care Ltd, Monmouthshire
Speaking today Nick said: “ I’d like to pass on my congratulations to the local award winners and to all those who have won awards across Wales. I know how hard our carers work, helping the more vulnerable members of society, and they all need to be recognised for their efforts. Well done.”
