Monmouth AM Nick Ramsay will be quiz master at a quiz night to be held at The Grange, Usk Conservative Club function room, 16 Maryport Street, Usk NP!5 1AB on the evening of Friday 11th October starting at 7pm.
The quiz will help raise funds for Ovarian Cancer Action Wales. Tickets cost £5 or £20 for a team of five and may be purchased on the door. Light refreshments will be provided and a pay bar will be available with a raffle to help boost funds for the charity on the night.
Speaking today Nick said: “I offered to help organise a fundraising quiz night for this worthy charity after meeting one of my constituent’s Mr Jim Sweet, whose wife sadly died after short battle with cancer at the end of last year.
“Jim is a keen supporter of the charity and is eager to find ways to diagnose the cancer at an earlier stage so that more women’s lives can be saved in the future. I hope there will be a good turnout for the quiz, and all are welcome. I’m sure it will be a great evening.”
