AM presses Persimmon on issues at Crawshay Bailey Close

Monmouth Assembly Member Nick Ramsay is pressing Persimmon Homes for an explanation for the ongoing delay in finalising outstanding work at Crawshay Bailey Close in Gilwern, following numerous complaints from constituents.

“Persimmon have promised my constituents an update on what is happening but nothing has materialised and understandably they are becoming increasingly frustrated at the time being taken to complete work on the site,” said Mr Ramsay.

“While I appreciate that these matters take time and that some issues are beyond the control of Persimmon Homes, I also fully appreciate residents’ concerns given that we are now into the winter months.

“Residents had previously been advised that everything would be finalised this summer – but that hasn’t happened and information on the current position is still awaited.

“I have asked Persimmon’s Mr Smith to look into this personally and provide an explanation for the continued delay together with a realistic time-scale for all outstanding matters to be finalised.”
