AM Supports Local Businesses at Countryside Alliance Awards

Monmouth Assembly Member, Nick Ramsay, was delighted to attend the Countryside Alliance Awards 2019 held at the White Norwegian Church, Cardiff Bay on 1st May.

Over 17,000 nominations for awards were received from across the country which are otherwise known as “The Rural Oscars”. Two businesses based in the Monmouth constituency were in contention for a Welsh title -  Raglan Farm Park, Usk in the Rural Enterprise category, and The Decent Company, Clydach, Abergavenny in the Local/Drink category.

Speaking today Nick said: “ I was delighted that Raglan Farm Park were runners up. They are an example of farm diversification a great local business.

“ I’m sure that Raglan Farm Park and The Decent Company will go from strength to strength. Congratulations to all the local businesses that were nominated for awards this year. Keep up the good work!”
