AM pledges to work to end modern slavery

MONMOUTH AM Nick Ramsay joined fellow Assembly Members to sign a commitment to end modern slavery and human trafficking.

Held at The Senedd last Wednesday, the event was sponsored by Joyce Watson AM and supported by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent, Jeff Cuthbert.

Nick Attends Premiere of BBC’s New Requiem Drama

Local Assembly Member for Monmouth, Nick Ramsay, was delighted to attend last night’s premiere in Cardiff of the BBC’s new Requiem drama, a joint BBC/Netflix production.

This psychological thriller was filmed partly in Monmouthshire at Cefn Tilla, the former home of Lord Raglan.

MONMOUTH AM Nick Ramsay has welcomed figures out today showing that the number of people claiming the key out of work benefits in the Monmouth constituency has fallen by 534, a 48% drop since 2010.

Chepstow Bypass

Local AM Nick Ramsay was disappointed to learn that the Welsh Government’s Cabinet Secretary for Infrastructure, Ken Skates AM, would not be attending a site meeting with Chepstow residents to discuss conducting a feasibility study on a possible by-pass around the town.
