Local Assembly Member, Nick Ramsay, is to hold a joint public meeting with the Police & Crime Commissioner, Jeff Cuthbert, on Wednesday 24th April about local policing.
The meeting, held at the Abergavenny Community Centre on Park Street, will be an opportunity for any members of the public to raise issues about community policing in the town.
Nick Ramsay said, “I am grateful to the Police & Crime Commissioner for Gwent, Jeff Cuthbert and representatives of Gwent Police for agreeing to attend this important public meeting.
“This will be an opportunity for any member of the public to come along and discuss community policing and crime prevention in the town.
“While there are issues in the town regarding anti-social behaviour, burglaries and other criminal offences, I hope this meeting will reassure the community that Abergavenny that efforts are being made by the local police to maintain law and order.”
The meeting will be at 7pm on Wednesday 24th April 2019 at the Abergavenny Community Centre, Park Street, Abergavenny, NP7 5YB and attended by:
