Local AM Supports Chepstow Mencap’s St David’s Day Event

Monmouth AM, Nick Ramsay, was delighted to attend Chepstow and District Mencap’s St David’s Day Tea Party held at Burnt Barn Club, Chepstow on 1st March.

All present were entertained during the afternoon by The Berkeley Singers and friends, with music, dancing and general merriment during an afternoon of fun for all.

Speaking after the event Nick said: “I was pleased to be able to continue my support for Chepstow and District Mencap by calling in at the tea party on St David’s Day.

“Proceeds raised from the sale of refreshments were donated to Chepstow Mencap’s fundraising for refurbishment of their new headquarters and community space in Chepstow.

“I’m looking forward to arranging a quiz to help further with the fundraising later in the year. Well done to everyone involved in organising last week’s party.”
