Local Assembly Member for Monmouth, Nick Ramsay, has welcomed news from BT that its “BT Skills for Tomorrow” has free resources and information available to the public to help them gain the skills they need to flourish in the digital world and stay connected with friends and family during the coronavirus outbreak. Currently, these skills are more important than ever.
Speaking today Nick said: “ With large numbers of constituents self-isolating or confined to their homes, it’s vital that people with low or no digital skills can keep in touch with family and friends and access health services.
“Families with children at home from school also need to get the best out of technology to help their children to learn and play, and many people need support as they work from home for the first time.
“I was pleased to receive information from BT about its Skills for Tomorrow support which has free resources and information to help people with these challenges: Constituents may like to visit www.bt.com/skillsfortomorrow to find out more and hopefully acquire some very useful new skills to help deal not only with the current crisis but also for the future.”
