Earlier today, local Assembly Member, Nick Ramsay, attended a “topping out” ceremony organised by Aneurin Bevan University Health Board at Llanfrechfa.
The ceremony was led by Vaughan Gething AM, Minister for Health & Social Services, and marked the completion of the highest point of the new £350 million hospital.
Speaking after the event Nick said: “I was pleased to be able to attend this important milestone in the construction of the specialist and critical care hospital.
“Although it will still be another two years before Grange University Hospital receives its first patients, I was impressed to see how quickly the building work is progressing and am looking forward to attending the final opening in the not too distant future.”
