MONMOUTH AM Nick Ramsay was delighted to join supporters and volunteers at a Fairtrade Breakfast, held in Abergavenny last Friday.
As usual, the event proved extremely popular, attracting many visitors and raising awareness of the Fairtrade movement, now in its 12th year in Abergavenny.
Nick, who has pledged to push for greater Fairtrade produce in the Assembly, said: "We can be very proud of the continued contribution made by Monmouthshire -thanks to the dedication of all those involved in the campaign, the Fairtrade movement has gone from strength to strength, helping to make a difference to the lives of the people who produce these goods and to the communities they live in.
"I thoroughly enjoyed an excellent breakfast and congratulate all those involved in providing such a wonderful spread.
"It was a great opportunity to showcase and sample Fairtrade produce, which tasted simply delicious!
"I wish those involved in the Fairtrade campaign every success with future events and will continue to do all I can to support them."
