Member of the Welsh Parliament for Monmouth, Nick Ramsay, was proud to have supported the Sepsis UK’s recent world record attempt in memory of Jayne Carpenter. Jayne was a nurse who had multiple limbs amputated after developing sepsis in 2016, and was found dead at her home in Merthyr Tydfil earlier this month.
The world record attempt was to get a record number of people tweeting hashtags at the same time.
Speaking earlier Nick said: “ Jayne was an inspirational Sepsis campaigner, and her death earlier this month was devastating for all who knew her and supported her campaign.
“ I was pleased to help in a small way to raise awareness and funds for the UK Sepsis Trust by taking part in the world record attempt in memory of Jayne.”
