Local Senedd Member for Monmouth, Nick Ramsay, has been contacted by researchers from the HAPPEN Wales primary school network, based at Swansea University who have just launched a new survey open to all primary school staff about schools reopening.
The aim of the survey is to identify the barriers, challenges and opportunities of schools reopening to inform planning for September.
Speaking today Nick said: “ I have been asked to spread the news about this staff survey for primary schools and other relevant networks within my Monmouth constituency. It is really important to capture this information in order to assist schools with approaches for September, particularly with the recent announcement that children will now be returning full-time from September. I am told that the information gathered in the survey will be analysed over the summer and shared to relevant stakeholders in education. “
The survey can be found at Returning to school: School Staff Survey (English) and Dychwelyd i’r ysgol: Arolwg Staff Ysgol (Welsh). More information can be found on the HAPPEN Wales website at https://happen-wales.co.uk/return-to-school-survey/. The closing date for the survey is 31st July.
