Member of the Welsh Parliament for Monmouth, Nick Ramsay, has welcomed the beginning of Fairtrade Fortnight 2021 which begins today and ends on 7th March.

Speaking earlier Nick said: “ Obviously the pandemic means we can’t meet for a launch this year but it’s still important we do what we can to support fair trade across the world and there are plenty of online events you can join to find out more.

“ This year Fairtrade Fortnight has a climate change theme and will be drawing attention to the problems faced by Fairtrade farmers due to climate change.

“ Let’s hope that we’ll all be able to meet up again next year for Fairtrade Fortnight with the worst of the pandemic behind us.”
