Monmouth Assembly Member Nick Ramsay has welcomed the announcement last week that the Welsh Government has made up to £2.5 million emergency grant funding available to support businesses severely impacted by floods caused by Storms Ciara, Dennis and Jorge.
The Welsh Government Business Flood Relief grant Fund is administered by Business Wales and available to support Small and Medium Enterprises with the immediate costs of recovery from damage and disruption caused by the storms where businesses are not insured. A sum of £2,500 is available per business to help them remain solvent through disrupted trading periods.
Speaking today Nick said, “The Fund is open between March 11 and 20 august 2020 , subject to availability, so I would urge all eligible businesses in my constituency to move quickly to apply.
“ The application form and guidance is available online via https://businesswales.gov.wales/flood-relief-fund or by contacting the Business Wales helpline on 03000 6 03000. Alternatively, businesses can email firstname.lastname@example.org .”
