Nick and David Visit Monmouth’s new Leisure Centre

Monmouth AM Nick Ramsay and David Davies MP enjoyed a tour of Monmouth’s new leisure centre earlier this week, and were very impressed with the new facility.

The old building has been extensively refurbished and feels like a new build.

AM welcomes A40 noise treatment tests

Monmouth AM Nick Ramsay has welcomed news that a recent trial of a treatment to assess noise generation and durability on a stretch of the A40 between Raglan and Abergavenny is currently being monitored in order for noise investigation assessments to take place.

AM welcomes fishing byelaws inquiry

Monmouth  AM Nick Ramsay has welcomed a decision by the Welsh Government’s Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs, Lesley Griffiths AM, to request the Planning Inspectorate Wales to conduct an inquiry in relation to the All Wales Rod and Line (Salmon and Sea Trout) byelaws 2017.

AM Enjoys Raglan Day Festivities

Monmouth AM Nick Ramsay was delighted to attend Raglan Day again this year along with the crowds of local supporters who also enjoyed the event.

AM disappointed by negative response to Usk in Bloom’s funding request

Monmouth AM Nick Ramsay said he was disappointed to learn that the Welsh Government had turned down a request by Usk In Bloom to help cover the cost of sending two representatives to Canada to represent Usk and Wales at the International Communities in Bloom awards ceremony in September.

AM presses for safety measures on Chepstow link road

Monmouth AM Nick Ramsay is again pressing the Welsh Government to carry out urgently needed road safety improvements on the A466 link road at Chepstow, which claimed the lives of three people between 2013 and 2016.
